Olá amigos cultos e ocultos! Nosso encontro hoje é com o cearense paulista Sérgio Sá, um artista que tem andado sumido, pelo menos para mim. Já faz um tempo que não escuto falar dele, mas sei que continua muito atuante, inclusive como escritor. Sérgio veio para São Paulo ainda na adolescência. Cego de nascença, enfrentou diversos obstáculos, comuns a uma pessoa com deficiência visual, mas como tantos se tornou um vitorioso. Construiu sua carreira como músico, se tornando intérprete, compositor e arranjador. Já tocou com os mais diversos artistas, figuras do quilate de Hermeto Pascoal, Gilberto Gil e até Stevie Wonder. Tem em seu currículo um respeitável leque de canções gravadas por, também, outros diversos artistas famosos. Começou a carreira profissional nos anos 60, aos 16 anos. No início da década de 70 ele passou a compor para temas de novelas. Se tornou Paul Bryan, um pseudo artista internacional que emplacou uns quatro temas entre os dez mais vendidos no ano de 1974. Entre essas, a famosa “Don’t say good by”, que fez parte da novela da Globo “Cavalo de Aço”. Trabalhou também fazendo arranjos e como instrumentista (tecladista) para discos de artistas como Roberto Carlos, Simone, Jane Duboc e outros mais… Em 1982 ele gravou pela RCA este disco, intitulado “Voa vida”. Um álbum onde praticamente quase todas as faixas são autorais. Os destaques vão para a belíssima instrumental “Decolagem”, “Amigo desconhecido” e “Eu me rendo”.
